Small Stag Beetle Breeding setup

This setup is good for many small stag beetle species

This setup comes with:

Exo faunarium 23x15.5x17cm

Beetle soil  (bottom layer)

Stag fermented wood flake Stag breeding wood

Beetle jelly x30

Bark

To set this up first put the stag breeding wood in a bucket overnight.

Then put the beetle soil in first and compress it to the bottom of the faunarium.

Next put some stag fermented wood in just to cover the bottom layer and push it down again.

Put the breeding wood in and then put the rest of the stag wood flake in so only the tops showing and try and compress it as much as you can.

Now we put some bark on top so the beetle can get back on his feet if  falls over
